What Happens on an Indoor Skydiving Experience?
Recently, one of our colleagues went out and about to take the plunge with a spot of indoor skydiving. Sevda Salih was brave enough to step into the void with Airkix in Milton Keynes. We’ve even got the video to prove it a little further down! So once she was back on solid ground, we sat her down to ask her all about those wind tunnel antics. Get ready to fly…

Out and About: Tandem Skydiving with Ciana
Last month Ciana, a member of our Product Team, took the ultimate plunge and went tandem skydiving in Wiltshire. Let’s find out how she got on… “Arriving at Skydive London I was unsure if the weather would hold up, but it did! My experience started with training from H, one of the very funny instructors who had done 1,800 skydives! I learnt all about how skydiving works, the correct position to jump in and how to land. After getting kitted out in a very (un)flattering jumpsuit, leather hat and body harness, I was led to the area to meet my tandem partner. Jon was so friendly and reassuring that I…

Out and About: Jess and Rachael are Wildlife Park Keepers for the Day
A few weeks ago, we sent our trusty employees Jess and Rachael to Hertfordshire to become wildlife park keepers for the day. They took some incredible pictures and Jess told us all about what happened… “The day had a glamorous start when we met the first keeper who helped us get stuck in by shovelling peacock and zebra poo – which was hard work but very funny! Next we went to feed the lemurs who were so cute and crawled all over Rachael and I, we didn’t expect them to be so friendly. We also had a short talk on monkeys and got to see a sloth and an armadillo.…

Out and About: David Goes Birds of Prey Handling
David, one of our Corporate Administrators, found himself in the countryside of Kent recently, where he got acquainted with some majestic birds of prey. Here’s his account of a day at Eagle Heights. “My arrival at Eagle Heights was warm and receptive. After a welcoming cup of coffee I met fellow bird handlers for the day and we spent the morning in the centre’s lecture room learning about the biology and history of a variety of birds. We were introduced to falcons, hawks, owls, eagles and vultures and importantly, were shown carefully how to handle the birds, their habits were explained and we learned about the environmental and circumstantial threats…

Out and About: Hot Air Ballooning in Bath
Last bank holiday weekend Bill, our CEO, went to the historic City of Bath to embark on a Phileas Fogg style adventure aboard a hot air balloon. Let’s see how he got on… “What a way to spend a romantic weekend in Bath. We decided to celebrate by picking one our top items in our ‘bucket list’, a hot air balloon ride for 2 from the middle of Bath. We stayed at The Queensberry Hotel, which has to be one of the most beautiful hotels in Bath. It has a slightly eccentric layout but is definitely relaxed with an astonishing attention to detail – it’s the perfect boutique hotel from…
