Benefit Makeover
Corporate Sales Manager, Vic headed to Carnaby Street in Soho for a Benefit makeover and make-up lesson from a qualified Benefit make-up artist, to learn some expert beauty tips and tricks of the trade. Read below to find out how she got on.
Vic and her friend arrived at the London store for a girly afternoon out and were immediately impressed by the undivided attention of the Benefit’s professionals in-store. The lesson started with an eyebrow consultation where the professionals advised them how to get eyebrows just how they wanted them. They then shaped, cut and waxed both girls’ brows to their desired shapes.
Next, the make-up artist’s asked the girls if they were going out that night and whether or not they wanted make up to reflect what they were doing for the rest of that day. They also sat down to discuss their skin types, what sort of looks they liked to go for and what they usually did with their make up regimes and looks.
Having the full attention of the staff, with no sense of urgency or rushing, really put the girls at ease and made them relax and enjoy the experience even more – the complimentary glass of bubbly helped with that too! Every product used was fully explained before being applied to skin. It felt like a real pamper session.
After the makeovers were complete, the girls had £40 each to spend in-store as part of the experience. Vic treated herself to a pair of eyelashes which were put on as an additional extra and helped to make her look and feel even more glam after her makeover. In fact, they both spent well over £40 in store in the end – and who can blame them when they looked this great? As Vic said “You just have to buy it all”.
The make-up experience would make a fantastic present for any girl as well as a treat for yourself and a girlfriend. Our duo certainly recommend it. They learned plenty and said their time with Benefit contributed to a really great day out.
If you want to look as fantastic as Vic and her friend and want to do a Benefit make-over for two, head over to the RLD website to find out more details about the experience.
