The Life of a Busker with Charlotte Campbell

London busker Charlotte Campbell  recently went on one of our recording day experiences at Abbott Studios in Hackney. We caught up to ask her about the world of a full-time musician and find out about the busy life of a busker who works and sings in London.

We spoke to London busker Charlotte Campbell about what its like to be a busker and what the life of a busker entails.

Charlotte Campbell, 26 year old singer and songwriter from North London, is a full time musician and busker. She has been writing music for over 10 years and her career was truly propelled when she began busking on the South Bank, where she is found performing come rain or shine. Charlotte sings a mixture of her own original music and some of her favourite cover songs. We wanted to get the lowdown on what life as a London busker is really like, so we asked a few questions.

Thanks Charlotte, we think you’re a real talent and have enjoyed listening to you. Readers who agree might also enjoy your blog , diaryofalondonbusker and can find out where you are performing next here.

Check out Charlotte’s YouTube videos about her time at Abbott Street and hear the song she recorded during there.

Charlotte Campbell is far more than a busker, she is a songwriter of extraordinary talent. Up there with the best in the U.K. Add to this a crystal clear voice and fine ability on the guitar and you surely have a huge star in the making.
