According to the weatherman, the warm air and blue skies are going to be sticking around for the rest of the summer holidays… fingers crossed!

Did You Know? The Eden Project contains the world’s largest rainforest in captivity – it’s so big that the Tower of London could fit inside it!

Plantasia at Kew Gardens

Uncover the botanic wonders of Surrey’s magnificent Kew Gardens by paying a visit to their summer plant festival, Plantasia.

There are lots of fun things to do for both adults and kids including The Barefoot Walk and Plant Family Croquet – there’s even a Gin and Tonics Garden!

Did You Know? Kew is home to the oldest pot plant in the world, which dates all the way back to 1775.

Tiger Territory at The ZSL London Zoo
Runs Until: Actually, Tiger Territory is open throughout the year – but it’s best during the summer holidays!

The ZSL London Zoo is one of the capital’s most popular attractions and has plenty of great activities and animal exhibits for the whole family to enjoy.

The zoo’s latest and arguably most exciting exhibit is Tiger Territory – embark on a journey through an Indonesian habitat, coming face-to-face with stunning tigers through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows. A must for big cat lovers!

Did You Know? Although you can take snaps of the animals, you actually have to request the direct permission of the zoo in order to use them commercially.

Personal Museums at The National Football Museum

Manchester’s National Football Museum is a Mecca for all things footie related and is packed with insightful activities, as well as fun things to do.

Its most recent exhibition, named Personal Museums, has been installed by the art group The Soup Collective and combines cinema, 3D imaging and physical displays to celebrate 150 years of the football league – essential for football fanatics of all ages!

Did You Know? One of the world’s most valuable pieces of football memorabilia is a handwritten soccer rules book worth a whopping £881,250.
