What Happens on… a Seafood Cookery Course with Giancarlo Caldesi
Our eCommerce Director Gerry O’Brien has a passion for cookery. He’s known around the office for his culinary skills, having cooked up a Thai Street Kitchen feast and a Spanish Paella fiesta for the entire Red Letter Days workforce to enjoy in the past. So to assist his ever expanding foodie repertoire, we sent him on a seafood cookery course with Giancarlo Caldesi to see how he got on… “Giancarlo Caldesi is a respected and experienced Italian chef who owns three successful restaurants and a cookery school inspired by Italian cuisine. It’s a family run business and Caldesi in Campagna in beautiful Bray near Windsor is where the seafood cookery…

Wedding Presents: What To Buy the Happy Couple?
Wedding season is well and truly upon us, which often leaves us pondering two things: 1) What am I going to wear? (one for the ladies) 2) What should I get the happy couple? While all the other guests opt for homeware, why not think outside the gift box (literally) and give the newly weds something they’ll really remember: a bit of time together. You’ll find even more ideas for presents in the wedding gifts section of our website.

Vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, mint choc and honeycomb are popular choices and it seems that flavours are becoming even more adventurous year on year. Anyone with an ice cream maker and a colourful imagination can get creative…

London Days Out: What Happens on a Wimbledon Tour?
For several years I have been lucky enough to host our Red Letter Days experience at Wimbledon, and I never tire of it. Wimbledon – as a venue and a great sporting event – really can make all of us proud to be British, and everything about this experience shouts quality and a thorough respect for upholding tradition. The 2013 Championship was certainly different, with the loss of so many big names in the early days, the controversial slips on the grass, Marion Bartoli, an endearing new ladies champion, and of course the nation’s joy at the success of Andy Murray winning the Gentlemen’s Singles title yesterday – congratulations to him! It…

Out and About: Tandem Skydiving with Ciana
Last month Ciana, a member of our Product Team, took the ultimate plunge and went tandem skydiving in Wiltshire. Let’s find out how she got on… “Arriving at Skydive London I was unsure if the weather would hold up, but it did! My experience started with training from H, one of the very funny instructors who had done 1,800 skydives! I learnt all about how skydiving works, the correct position to jump in and how to land. After getting kitted out in a very (un)flattering jumpsuit, leather hat and body harness, I was led to the area to meet my tandem partner. Jon was so friendly and reassuring that I…
